Larry Reeves Updates

Larry suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on Thursday evening. Larry was airlifted to Shands and went to surgery. The surgeons evacuated as much of the blood as possible. After surgery, Larry went to the Nuerological ICU, where he remains in critical but stable condition. The most immediate concern is a risk for swelling of the brain and/or another episode of bleeding. He is responsive but not alert at this time and requires a ventilator for breathing assistance. The secondary concern is the risk of infection due to the nature of the surgery. At this time visiting will need to be limited to immediate family. Once he gets to the rehab stage we will update everyone here to let them know when he can have visitors.
